Literature Text

As I was learning to take my first steps,
you were there to guide me.
As I began to read and write,
You were there beside me.

Through love and loss,
Through pain and tears,
No matter what happened,
Grandma was always there.

Each hug, each kiss,
From her is a treasure.
Grandma,
you've taught me so much.

The days when I slept over,
We'd stay up until nine,
We'd talk, we'd play,
You told me stories over and over.

Board games, dolls,
Drawing and colouring.
Things we'd do together,
Just us, Grandma and me.

You'd hold my hand,
and walk me around the garden.
Looking at flowers,
playing on the swing.

These are the days I'll never forget,
The days you were here.
The days where you were healthy,
The days you had no fear.

In my mind you were immortal,
I never thought you'd go.
And as we see now, I was wrong,
But you're forever in my heart.
Rest In Peace

I can say it's a beautiful poem, and writing can always help us to go through some moments of our lives.

But, once it's too personal, I don't think it's appropriate to say antyhing more,
Rest in Peace.
